Abstract

Ship repair enterprises are among the most important in the country's shipbuilding complex. This paper discusses the waste management system for ship repair production. A relationship  is  established  between  the  accumulations  of  waste  from  the  process  of cleaning  ships,  with  the  amount  of  waste  generation  at  the  enterprise,  since  it  is  the waste of cleaning ships that is the most significant for this area of waste generation. The five-year research period is considered with stable production operation, which will allow obtaining the most optimal results. The analysis of the waste management system showed that there is no direct relationship between the amount of waste and the num-
ber of ships being repaired, since more key factors are the year the ship was built and its technical condition, as well as the scale of the repair. As a measure to reduce the accumulation of waste from cleaning ships, it is possible to propose its recovery. It should be noted that a change in the use of the type of abrasive material and the use of its recuperation entails a complete change in the cleaning process and a complete replacement of all equipment.
